Hello Frank,

Re: Editors Page

Thanks for your fine magazine. About Mister Hastert: although he is keeping a comparatively low profile, he's not such a nice guy as you might think after reading the Infoplease-page youlink to. Take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Hastert or http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Dennis_Hastert.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Sir:

My friend Laimonis Holms has forwarded the latest "Curuzu Cuatia,"* and I'm simply flabbergasted with its content: just about all of my favorites! kindly favor me with a subscription.

Sincerely yours,

Valdis Kuga

*The name Curuz Cuati is of Guaran origin and means "Engraved Cross". The early settlers (Spanish conquistadores and Jesuit missionaries in Uruguay) called it Posta de Cruz since the site was a crossroads, marked by a large cross with an inscription. [Ed.]
